The integer atomics ABI has been stable for the past year with only minor fixes. This fits the description of Beta as we do not expect to make any major changes.
The floating point atomics will remain at Alpha as there is less certainty in the C/C++ standards on how these will be used. A separate issue will be raised to describe the interoperability limitations that exist.
