Kernel Bug: CPU Lockup (Kernel hangs with netstamp_clear)

Hello, this is the first time I've posted an issue here so please excuse me if I do not provide adequate logs/data, I am happy to provide those but I am not 100% sure which are relevant here.

I'm running Asahi Linux (Fedora 42) on my M2 Mac Mini, and I was starting up my modded (heavily) Minecraft server today like usual. However, the Minecraft server hangs at the log "Generating Keypair," and from then on CPU cores 1 and 7 were maxed at 100%. Often then (I tried this several times), the system silently reboots into Linux. I am using Temurin JDK 17.0.16 for aarch64 (Java). The kernel seems to be hanging on netstamp_clear.

I ran sudo dnf upgrade prior to this boot, and I am running the latest version of that major Java version (17).

I think you found a real kernel bug. watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for 403s! [spark-async-sam:2814]
A soft lockup means a CPU core got completely stuck doing a task inside the kernel and couldn't do anything else. Your system eventually gave up and forced a reboot.
By any chance, do you use spark profiler? It uses the kernel's performance tools to figure out what's using resources, and it seems like there's a conflict between it, the Java runtime and this specific part of the Asahi kernel when your server is generating its encryption keys.

If you use Spark, temporarily disable it. I'm willing to bet the server will start up just fine without it.

I am not home right now so I cannot verify until tomorrow, but yes I do use the spark profiler. I will give that a try. Thanks for the help
