Multiple build errors occurring with Qt 5.10 on macOS:

I managed to build the contrib version of Qt with both patches for (1) and (2).

Thank you! I had the same struggles and was able to install ball_contrib and ball on OSX after applying the mentioned patches. For (2) I had to use patch set 1.
