[Feature Request] Show default system apps without displaying all hidden system apps

I really want to add the Google Play store to my launcher. I enabled "Show system apps" to make this possible, but WOW does it show A LOT of things I didn't expect.

Is there any way to separate the system applications from all those little hidden apps?

For example, maybe a group for [calendar, clock, album, music, google play,] and another group for all those other strange system apps? [Network Manager, Noto Serif / Source Sans Pro, One Time Init, OsuLogin, etc]

I don't think there's a reliable way to tell useful apps versus hidden ones based on their package name, I tried to find some patterns, but didn't find any good one.

The dart library I use to get package list has a PR fixing this issue: sharmadhiraj/installed_apps#43 but it seems like it's not gonna get merged soon. I could use that fork, but I'd prefer a stable release.
