Mod Glitched / No remove or way to refresh the names

The mod wasn't working in my 1.21.4 fabric server at all for changing the dimensions properly, when I tried to remove it and configure it, none of the names on the tablist went away either. Now people are stuck with "Overworld" in their name when I want to mod removed because it wasn't properly working in the first place. Please help me fix this gang

Sorry to hear that. I just double checked my Fabric 1.21.4 server and I am not getting any of the issues described at all. Travelling dimensions updates the tab list and if the mod is uninstalled the name returns to normal on next server start. The name is never permanently altered (as far as I'm aware) so I'm not sure why that would happen.

Can you tell me if you have any other mods installed and the Fabric API version you have installed on your server and I'll try and do some digging. Prehaps there is an issue with never versions of the API.

What might be causing it is this other name mod I have installed https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-custom-names if it is this mod that's causing it, do you mind letting me know if you find a fix? I have no idea what else could be causing it

After testing that mod it seems to be fully compatible. I'm still not getting any of the issues you've described. Changing dimension updates the name and setting a custom name does not affect the dimension part of the name.
Removing either mod reverts the name back to original so I'm really not sure what would be making it persist.

For clarification these are the mod versions I am testing with:
Fabric Loader: 0.16.10
Fabric API: 0.118.5+1.21.4
Dimension Viewer: 1.21-2.0.0
Custom Name: 0.2.9-1.21.4

I have no idea what could be the problem then, I'm using fabric API 0.119.3+1.21.4 and customnames 0.2.9-1.21.4. It could be my version of fabric API? I'm using a bisect hosting server if that changes anything

After I just tried removing both mods again, the customnames was removed but the overworld is still there
