Failed to generate ledger key

The command injectived keys add ledger --ledger fails with the error:

Failed to generate ledger key

There is no other context provided. I'm using an m1 macbook pro. Ledger is unlocked with the eth app open. I'm using the build on the master branch. Any guidance would be appreciated.

same here. I did it with docker but same Error returned. so i ask in telegram they said use "public.ecr.aws/l9h3g6c6/injective-core:v1.13.0" this image. and let me know use stable version if i want to do with binary.
i'm trying to do it now. and i'll let you know if it works.

Hey. It worked for me once I 1) compiled the app 2) opened ethereum app 3) unblocked the ledger 4) executed the commands below:

Version v1.13.2 (49c3807)
Compiled at 20241218-1232 using Go go1.23.1 (arm64)
injectived   keys add injTest12 --ledger --keyring-backend=file --account 12

As for docker container, it's not supposed to work since docker is isolated from the host machine usb devices by defaults. From propper docker + kms setup please use this guide https://hub.cosmos.network/main/validators/kms/kms_ledger

Same here with https://github.com/InjectiveFoundation/injective-core/releases/tag/v1.15.0

For https://github.com/InjectiveFoundation/injective-core/releases/tag/v1.13.0,
it works with a ledger nano s firmware version 2.1.0,
but does NOT work with a ledger nano x firmware version 2.4.2. Same error as in #8 (comment).
And there's no way to downgrade the firmware.
