Support for slovak

Hi,

I'm using HeliboardL on my Android phone and I really like all its features. However, I'm missing the Slovak language dictionary for automatic spell checking and word suggestions. I found the "custom dictionary" option in the app, but I'm not sure how to properly proceed with installing a Slovak dictionary.

I have a few questions:

Is it possible to install a Slovak dictionary directly in the app, or does it need to be downloaded from an external source?
If using the "custom dictionary" feature, what format should the dictionary be in and where can I find one for Slovak?
Is there a detailed guide for adding language dictionaries to LeanType?
Thank you for your help and advice. By the way, the app is really excellent and I've been looking for exactly this kind of combination of open-source code with AI features and privacy respect.

LeanType does not include every language dictionary by default to keep the app size small, but you can easily add the Slovak dictionary manually.

Go to Settings → Languages. when enabled it shows an dialog with the direct links (click both emoji.., main...)

Installation Steps long version

1. Enable Slovak Language:
   • Go to Settings → Languages.
   • Ensure Slovak is added to your active layouts.
2. Import the Dictionary:
   • Go to Settings → Dictionary.
   • Tap the "+" (Plus icon) in the top right, Click ok.
   • Select the sk-experimental.zip or sk .dict file you just downloaded.
   • When prompted for the language, select Slovak.
3. Finish:
   • "Slovak" should now appear in the list with "Main" or "User" indicated below it.
   • Word suggestions and spell-checking will now work immediately in Slovak!

• What format is required? The app accepts .dict files or .zip files containing a .dict file.
• Is it private? Yes. Unlike Gboard, this dictionary stays entirely on your device.
