Widescreen mod not working on PAL version

Would it be possible to make a pal version of the patch ?

Unfortunately, the patch for that was made by manually editing a bunch of files, and it's a lot of tedious work nobody is particularly interested in re-doing. Technically possible, but difficult and time-consuming, so as of right now it's not going to happen any time soon.

I've been investigating the problem further, and some FRME files are different in the PAL version. If you can point me in the right direction as to what the changes were, I could do it myself for the pal version of the files. For now I've seen the first change in the Combat Visor FRME file is a float 1 that changes to 1.12. Looking at https://wiki.axiodl.com/w/FRME_(File_Format) I think it's the x scale from the HWIG widget? That would make sense.
If you have any information on which parameters need to be changed, I could put together a script that changes the values in each file
