This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions

I installed the Open-in-Bundle-Viewer extension on my old Windows 10 computer years ago. I recently purchased a new computer running Windows 11 and Chrome Version 134.0.6998.89 (Official Build) (64-bit).

When I went to install the extension on this new system, I got the following error message:

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

@cp2004 Could this have something to do with this whole manifest v3 thing?

Firefox continues to work just fine...

Reading through that, I think it might actually suffice to just set manifest: 3 in https://github.com/OctoPrint/Open-in-Bundle-Viewer/blob/master/source/manifest.json ... Apparently not...

Yes most likely. Scanning through emails it looks like they were warning of it breaking back in June last year. Happy to take a look and see if I can fix it at the weekend.
