[Bug]: Cannot launch Companion v0.9.2 on macOS #183

What happened?

Actual Behavior
The application does not launch (no UI appears).

Additional Information
• Companion v0.9.1 was working correctly before the macOS update
• After updating macOS, neither v0.9.2 nor a fresh reinstall of v0.9.1 can be launched

Notes / Hypothesis
This issue may be related to changes introduced in the latest macOS update, as the problem started immediately after upgrading the OS.

Steps to reproduce (if you know them)

  1. Use Companion v0.9.1 on macOS (working before system update)
  2. Update macOS to version 26.4.1
  3. Launch Companion v0.9.1 → update prompt appears for v0.9.2
  4. Install Companion v0.9.2
  5. Try to launch the app

Expected result (optional)

The application should launch normally.

Environment (optional)

  • macOS: 26.4.1 (25E253)
  • Architecture: Apple Silicon M3 (ARM64)
  • Installer: Companion-macos-arm64.dmg
