is there a way to ignore/exclude specific icons while importing from Figma?

Unfortunately, no. But you can specify a list of icons to export — https://github.com/RedMadRobot/figma-export#arguments

You can set the description field to "none". If you set it, its component will be excluded during export.

I'd like to have a list of icons/images to exclude in .yaml file, because as a developer I don't have access to figma, and some images we get from the backend, but they are in design system.
