Does this tool work against uploaded photos in custom storage templated directories?

I have Immich setup so that after uploading a photo using the mobile app, it is automatically placed into a dir structure using storage template:

{{y}}/{{y}}-{{MM}}/{{y}}-{{MM}}-{{dd}}/{{filename}}

These photos are not in an external library. Will the script work on them? Seems it will, by specifying appropriate ROOT_PATH

Yes, the script does not distinguish where an asset came from (external library or uploaded via Immich). As long as the root path matches, the script will create albums.
