Two AirCubes next to each other, different readings #38

I have two AirCubes currently sitting stacked in my office. The one on the bottom is older from several months ago, and the one on top is newer from a month or two ago. I'm trying to understand why the top one consistently reads better overall air quality than the one on bottom. As a result, the color between the two is always different, sometimes very different. For the most part they're always about the same color, with the top one usually showing better air quality than the bottom, but occasionally they show a drastic difference.

The screenshot above was taken at the same time as the photo, and as you can see the AQI of the Office AirCube is more than double the Bedroom one. I'm just curious why this might be. I can't imagine the air quality would be that different from an inch and a half away. Both cubes are using the latest firmware. For what it's worth, I have tried blowing out dust from both just in case that was affecting things, but that made no difference. I have also tried reflashing the firmware, re-pairing them, and of course restarting them.

Is there some calibration I can do? Are there hardware revisions that might account for this? I should note that it's not just the AQI either, sometimes it's the other sensors that are vastly different.

Sorry if this is a bit rambly. This might be better as a Discussion, but discussions aren't enabled here.
