how do i make my bot join the voice?

when i do /summon it says "The application did not respond"

Your bot can only join if you’re in a voice channel first. So, make sure you’re in one, then run /summon. Also, your bot needs permission to join and speak there. If it still says “did not respond,” the bot might not be replying to the command properly.
