Symptoms

After pressing play in the Steam Client, a blank screen appears before disappearing and the game stops running (from the Client Perspective). There are no stray processes from the game after the crash.

Reproduction

1. Open Game in Steam Client Library
2. Press 'Play'
3. (blank screen pop ups and disappears)
4. 'Play' button reappears after about two seconds

The game runs fine for me. It even performs better than on windows 11.

It said proton experimental in the wine config in lutris.
