Superfluous debug log data when nothing is active #199
Description
If there are no clients connected to redmine, or when clients are connected but displaying data with no interaction, the additionals plugin wakes up periodically and does something, posting annoying debug output to the log files which makes finding errors unrelated to the additionals plugin cumbersome.
- Why does the plugin do anything periodically, rather than only when something changes and needs attention?
- If disabling this periodic wake-up would only prevent "instantaneous" updating of current pages, and "instantaneous" updating is not deemed worthwhile, it should be possible to disable this behavior via settings
