Explain score

By default, search results are sorted on 'Score'. I couldn't find an explanation of this scoring system in the documentation.

The score comes from text matching via search infrastructure (elasticsearch) the configuration for which would be rather hard to document. What depth of an explanation are you after? We could add an overview in case that would be useful, but it'd be nice for us to get some context. Thanks!

Not very deep, just enough to tell the user what it is about and why they would want to sort on it. You must have good reasons to use it :-)
