Make host code less grindy

Is there any way to make the host-code portion look any less ugly...??
Or is OpenCL host code just ugly to begin with?

Here are some reasons the host code is grindy:

• Each list and variable has a numpy name and an OpenCL name
• OpenCL requires space planning (types, shapes and buffers) for lists and variables
• Commands to the OpenCL context have to be constructed
• Kernel calls require a lot of set up
