Using vbutil_kernel to extract kernel is unclear

You version of `vbutil_kernel` can extract the kernel, but the help is very unclear. What do I specify for `--vmlinuz` and `--refvmlinuz`? Why can't I just do `vbutil_kernel --extract <kernel_part>`?
