The How page suggests using G+. I agree that it's expedient, but I'm not sure that it's such a great idea overall; notably for visibility. G+ has a number of active users that is within the margin of error of existing at all.

I would suggest an option that is just as simple but is universal to developers and sees a lot more usage: GitHub. I think each chapter can get its page, subdirectory, whatever on this very repo, and can just update the content there. A quick Jekyll setup and we're rolling.

Then of course event registration and remote participation can use whatever. But I'd be leery of relying too much on G+. It's just MySpace all over again.

Additionally, the second paragraph goes IMHO into too much detail about how Chapter Vermont operates. It's fine to operate that way, it's great that there is enough of a critical mass to use 3h/week, but that is not typical of geek user groups. What most other groups do is an evening a month, with a mixture of tech talks and socialising.

I would suggest paring that paragraph down to essentially state that a chapter can operate like any other local geek group (and can even be something that an existing one does), then give examples ranging from the typical 1 night per month to the intensive 3h/week, etc.
