What happened?

Forgive me if I am missing something here or if this is posted in the wrong place, but I assume there is not a process in place to cleanup build files in the ESPHome Addon?

I had 15Gb+ in HA Addon storage utilization and after seeing this thread https://community.home-assistant.io/t/hassio-docker-overlay2-folder-consuming-all-disk-space/174278/87 some people suggested having similar problems specifically with the ESPHome Addon.

I deleted the Addon, and just like that 12Gb gone. I had only 1 project in ESPHome.

So, I assume that the addon is missing some sort of "cleanup" job or garbage collector? Is that a correct assumption?
Again, please correct me if I am wrong.

Expected behavior

Addon should not grow in size over time without any sort of limits / cleanup.

There is a clean all option beside update all. That will clean everything.

Each compiler is about 2gigs (there are two for different versions of esp32) and arduino libs are like 1.6 gig. My platformio folder is 11 gigs but that is both Arduino + IDF and both the riscv and xtensa compilers.

Switching to IDF could save some space.
