condenser recirculation

I am trying to conduct CFD Analysis of five rooftop condensers that need to be crowded together to fit on a modular building footprint. We need to quantify the amount of recirculation. Looking to CFD to optimize the placements. Can I use FDS for this model and get accurate results, or would need a different package.

You can release small fraction of a certain gas species at each unit's exhaust. Then you can track this gas concentration at the inlet of other unit. Therefore you can quantify the recirculation.

Thanks. I am trying to heat the room with the areas emitting heat and use HVAC to represent the exhaust fans and the velocity vectors to assess recirculation and temperature distribution to assess the optimum design. Would FDS be suitable for this, or preferrable to use openfoam or Ansys for this case.

If detailed elements where small elements must be modelled or you require numerous design iterations with faster solution in steady-state calculation, ansys and openfoam might be advantageous.
