White screen issue

I found this project fascinating, but I recently installed Original R4 Build and noticed that when loading Pokémon Soulsirver I only had a white screen issue, I tried running the same ROM with NDS-BOOTSTRAP and it works fine.

Hello, my apologies for the late reply.

It is likely that you are using an encrypted ROM. These tend to work fine in nds-bootstrap as it includes the blowfish keys used to decrypt them. pico-loader, however, does not include them and will require an ARM7 DS BIOS to be able to load encrypted ROMs.

You can run dsbf_dump on the R4 in order to get this BIOS file. Once it has finished dumping everything, you can copy biosnds7.rom from the FW############ folder to the _pico folder on your SD card. This should fix the issue :)
