Flatpak Anki doesn't start when I run it

my terminal gives the following log when I run flatpak run net.ankiweb.Anki and Anki doesn't open, what might be going wrong?

Could you try the temporary solutions on my issue and let us know your results? The first one here switches to software rendering and the second one here downgrades the anki flatpak to one that works for me with opengl (note: this means if you do flatpak update then anki will update to the not working version again).

Closing as this is an old issue. Please check if it still occurs in the latest version of the app, and reopen if that is the case

Unfortunately for me, at least, the problem persists also with the most recent version. On the positive side, the two workarounds and notably the rollback to the old version also continue to function.
