It might be worth putting some careful consideration into how you structure a bounty program like this; as it works right now, this can lead to people competing in a race to develop a PR, potentially with unfortunately wasted effort. I often reference https://ziglang.org/news/bounties-damage-open-source-projects/ as a good writeup on the topic. |

Hi everyone, this is the first issue we're testing BountyHub for:
#1280
Through this service, anyone can fund an issue.
At the same time, anyone can earn the money that funded the issue by resolving it through PR.
Funding can be collective, so anyone who wishes can add a share to the issue's funding.
This way, we want to provide an additional opportunity to incentivize the development of the open source project and, at the same time, lend a helping hand to those who wish to contribute and earn money.
This is currently an initial test; feel free to share your thoughts, or if you're interested in developing the issue for a fee, feel free to request more funding from the community.
