Created using npx create-expo-app@latest and using the reset-project script. Then added SplashScreen.preventAutoHideAsync(); to the _layout.tsx file.
Expected behavior is the splash screen being delayed indefinitely, but the behavior exhibited on an Android emulator (tested with Expo Go, Expo Development Builds, and preview build) is that the splash screen disappears as soon as the app is started.
