Photos appear in the voting sequence twice

Two images have been voted at 20:33 UTC. However, they appear in the voting sequence again several minutes later (note the UTC+3 timezone)

A question would be (and this is something I might be able to find this out by experimenting on the beta-montage when i have some time later) whether this is because the vote is not stored the first time, or that somehow, an already voted-on picture is being presented again (e.g. due to the batched loading).

I can confirm I'm seeing this as well - vote on an image, and it reappears in the pool a few entries later. I have opened up the log of votes in another tab and it is showing as voted on, which suggests it might be the batched loading as @lgelauff suggests?

Edit: if I change my vote (was reject, now accept) or vote again (was reject, now reject) it saves the new vote and updates the "voted 2 minutes seconds ago" to "voted a few seconds ago". So it seems a second vote will override the first one, which is probably desirable.
