In the variable window, you can select the format of the variable, but in the watch window, you cannot select the format of the variable. Moreover, in the variable window, you cannot change the display format of a structure variable by selecting its format.

Unfortunately, VS Code does not let us add menu options to the watch window. If you need to change variable formats, we recommend that you use the Live Watch window instead.

Could you elaborate on what you want here? The value of a struct variable is usually just struct, but you can change the format of its member variables.

Is there a way to change the display format of all members of a structure variable at once if it has many members?

Thanks, I understand. There is no way to do that at the moment unfortunately. However, the view will remember the format used, so if you set it for all members once it will use the same format for future debug sessions too.
