out pdf file are almost portrait, when i open it, the word are very small as below:

i want to split/zoom portrait page to two landscape, one A4 page display two A5 page. as below:

yes, a little bit same, but this is split A4 page into 2 A5 page to render.
current i use tool to split pdf(mutool poster -y 2 input.pdf output.pdf), then use tdf to view file. can we render just a half in the screen.

another feature is :
would you consider save some page position when i quit, next time when i open the same file, i can restore to the old position? thanks

I personally only intend to implement fully-functioning zoom/pan systems, as opposed to something that would just cut the page into two to display it. So I think I'll close this, as the first half of your comment is covered by #7 and #90.

With regard to the second feature you mentioned: This is tracked in #78 and actively being worked on in #84.
