How vmdk is different to vdi especially dynamic allocation? #4
Description
Dynamic allocation is great but when I dded a 30G file, the disk image didn't grow.
Not sure if there is any difference in the dynamic allocation.
I had an assumption that if I dd a big file and delete that, dynamic allocation will not occur until filling up that space.

Would it be true for vmdk and vdi?
