Bug description
I use my laptop with 32 gigs of RAM for work. I found one day that my laptop was very slow and crashed randomly even though i was simply doing some coding and had only 4 tabs open in firefox. I opened system monitor and found i was using 8x% ram! i had no idea what to do so i restarted my laptop. it booted up and was using 3.xgb ram (which was good) however 4 hours later i was back up to 70%+ ram use. had no idea why, then i tried seeing what caused the issue with "top -o %MEM" and it was cinnamon. found this command: "cinnamon --replace &" and it temporarily fixes the issue but now i'm running it twice a day and its getting really annoying. Is there a fix for this?
Steps to reproduce
Just use vscode, firefox, and run some sql scripts. i keep my system pretty minimal...
Expected behavior
not high ram use
