timeshift --restore aborts when chaging the page 3 times

Describe the bug
running timeshift --restore it asks me Enter snapshot number (a=Abort, p=Previous, n=Next):
if i select n or p 3 times i get the message

E: Failed to get input from user in 3 attempts
Aborted.

i have over 80 snapshots so if i want to see them all i cant because it gets aborted before i even have the chance to

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. run timeshift --restore
2. select n or p 3 times

Expected behavior
i should be able to change the page however much i want

System:

• Linux Distribution Name and Version: Mint 22.3
• Desktop: Cinnamon 6.6.6
• Timeshift Version: Timeshift 25.12.4
• Timeshift Mode [btrfs/rsync?]:rsync
• Display Server: wayland
