Dear Luke,

First and foremost, I want to express my sincere admiration for your incredible work on TxtNet Browser. This app is truly a gem for people who love the unique joy of browsing the web without relying on mobile data—there’s something so satisfying and special about accessing text-based web content through SMS, a simple yet brilliant solution that brings back the fun of "low-tech but effective" internet access. I’ve been obsessed with this little tool lately, as it captures a kind of nostalgia and creativity that’s hard to find in modern, data-heavy browsers.

However, I’ve run into a couple of challenges that I hope to share with you, in the spirit of helping this amazing project grow even better. The first issue is that the number of available phone numbers running TxtNet Server seems quite limited, especially public ones. As someone who can’t set up a personal server on my own, I’ve struggled to find stable, working server numbers to connect to—most of the shared numbers I’ve found online are either inactive or stop working after a short while.

The second challenge is regional restrictions. I’m currently located in Macau, and even when I manage to find a foreign server number (usually from the US), the SMS transmission between Macau and overseas is often unstable, with delays or failures. It feels like the app’s usability is heavily limited by geographic barriers, making it hard for users in regions like mine to fully enjoy the convenience and fun it offers.

Again, thank you so much for creating TxtNet Browser—it’s a fantastic project that fills a unique niche, and I deeply appreciate the creativity and effort you’ve put into it. I just wanted to share these small frustrations in case they’re helpful for future updates, and I’ll continue to support and explore this app no matter what.

Best regards,
[St. john]
