Can't get plugin to work - Magento 2.1.10

Hi Max,

I installed your plugin via composer, but I’m having some issues.

Preconditions

1. Magento 2.1.0
2. PHP 7.0.24
3. PayPal PayFlow Pro Gateway

Steps to reproduce

1. Installed plugin via composer -composer require pronko/magento-2-payment-messages
2. Updated composer
3. magento setup:upgrade
4. magento setup:di:compile
5. magento setup:static-content:deploy
6. Confirmed pronko folder in the vendor directory
7. Changed message to “Cannot place order via this payment. Please call.” in GuestPaymentInformationManagement.php & PaymentInformationManagement.php
8. Tried an order with test credit card in order to trigger error message

Expected result

1. Error message should pop up “Cannot place order via this payment. Please call” as changed in the pronko file

Actual result

1. Error message remains the same “An error occurred on the server…”
