Describe the bug
A contributor keeps on getting email notifications about article updates even though he stopped contributing

Preconditions
Some more background context:

• Ray used to be part of the Dutch locale group
• Ray contributed to 3 articles in Dutch
• I asked Ray to uncheck everything from the Watch list page.

Steps to reproduce
TBD

Expected behavior
Not getting more notifications after we stop watching the articles.

Actual behavior
Keep getting email notifications
