Describe the session

We will showcase an application built on the FirstPersonView and Controller. We will present intersting issues we've hit, which are related to the use-case and to the differences in behavior between MapView and FirstPersonView, and how we overcame them.
Finally we will show draft proposal for a new type of controller that converges the different behavior of these two Views and Controllers.

Thanks for the proposal! This is something I’ve worked with in the past also, and would be curious to see what you have come up with. Does your solution allow animations between the two systems? It would also be nice to include a survey of all the Layers, pointing out which don’t work in first person (I seem to recall Tile3DLayer behaving strangely with point data for example)
