VGA Mode config?

So I've built the S-132, and plugged it in - Screen displays what I'd expect, but, not how I'd expect it - I am trawling through the documentation to see if there is a way to configure the VGA output, but found it yet - I just want to know if I need to diagnose the board and my woeful soldering first - or if it is just a setting - I can read everything (four times!) and the keyboard is fully operational.

Seems it's screen config specific, as another VGA screen works fine.
