Extensions 100% CPU while using Gmail

While using Gmail for some time, Firefox becomes janky, about:processes shows Extensions using 100% CPU, and here's the stack I copied from the profiler:

I'm not sure what triggered the problem on your environment actually, but I've realized that the code your log pointed can cause infinite loops, so I've pushed a change to avoid infinite loop with blank search text. Could you try the development build?

It can be loaded as a temporary extension via about:debugging. And you just need to restart Firefox to unload it. Please note that you should not uninstall temporarily installed built via about:addons, it will cleans up your settings for TextLink.
