Ability to scroll through list of tabs with keyboard

This is a simple question/request:

is there currently a way to navigate through the sidebar with the keyboard? In particular, a keyboard shortcut to get to the top and bottom of the list would be very useful. When you have a hundred tabs open, navigating the list with the scroll wheel is very cumbersome.

if there isn't a way to do this now, I think this would be a useful enhancement.

Have you reviewed the current keyboard shortcuts via about:addons -> Manage Extension Shortcuts?

so, I tried using the keys as defined in the extension shortcuts. some sort of work, like alt-pageup and alt-uparrow, some don't, like alt-pagedown and alt-end. the ones that sort of work behave erratically, e.g. alt-uparrow and alt-downarrow do not move a row at a time. Looks like they move 3 rows at a time.

is that the normal behavior?

Alt-PageDown (scroll down by page), Alt-End (scroll to end), Alt-Up (scroll up by lines) and Alt-Down (scroll down by lines) work for me on Nightly 138.0a1 on Windows 11. Which platform do you use? You possibly need to reassign those commands to other key combinations if you use Linux or macOS and those shortcuts are bound to something other commands by the platform.

I'm on Win 11. FF is 128.8.1esr

As I said, some keys sort of work. Alt-End doesn't work at all. Alt-PgDn kinda works but it doesn't get me to the last tab. same for Alt-PgUp - doesn't get me to the top.
I'll try on some other pc and see if it's any better.

anyway, I'll try to work this out myself. thanks for your attention. there is a related question I have though - is there anyway for the list of tabs to gain focus on mouse-over? I looked in the TST options but couldn't find it.

I've made https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tst-tab-switcher/ which adds vimium style hotkeys to the tab list for TST if that helps.
