Waking from suspend blank screen

When I wake my Darter Pro 8 from suspend I just have a grey screen and a mouse. There is no login box just a grey screen and a box. But it acts like the login box is on another display or something because I can type my password and hit enter (sometimes) and it will log me in. I have a felling this is because the text box is selected. Anyone know what could be causing this?
