pyrra in kuberntes mode is not working as expected with flag --config-map-mode=true

I am running pyrra in kubernetes mode and updated the deployment spec as below

but from the pyrra-kubernetes logs i can still see pyrra still tries to generate a PrometheusRule CRD instead of generating the config maps

can someone please take a look, i can see similar issue being reported #1244
