Link previews: consider support external domains (e.g. intersphinx)

In sphinx-hoverxref we supported some known external domains --mainly for intersphinx. However, we removed this feature in the new addons implementation for simplicity and security risks. We can bring back this discussion and decide whether or not implement this in the new addons.
