I've been contemplating using pig.js for a family media site, but one issue is I have multiple videos that I'd like to tile in besides just images.

I'm wondering how that could work. 🤔 Maybe it wouldn't be a drastic change?

Most services create a thumbnail and would use that in the grid – then you could open up a youtube / video player embed on-click.

It's outside the scope of this library but I encourage you to give it a shot as a fork!

I suppose one would either have to bake the play button affordance into the thumbnail, or overlay some html onto each grid item though.

I guess given the fact that pig.js has several touch points in it's configuration API that implicitly assume image as the media type, that makes sense. I guess it would be a pretty dramatic refactor to add a totally different media type in here.
