PHP 8.4

PHP 8.4 has been out for quite a while now, any chance you'll support that version of PHP?

@elomonaco What kind of support do you mean? Fedora, CentOS Stream or RHEL? In case of Fedora, you can do it by yourself. Please follow https://github.com/sclorg/welcome/blob/master/contribution.md#adding-a-new-version-of-an-image

I see this only goes up to 8.3 and we're using 8.4, 8.4 has been out for a while, so a bit surprised no one has done this yet.

@phracek Since PHP 8.5 is out since Nov 25th, 2025, shoudn't PHP 8.4 images be made available by now ?

As far as I know, nowadays there is no any plan to support neither PHP-8.4 nor PHP-8.5. In Fedora case, you can create PR with support for these version. Depends on what is supported on Fedora.
