Plugin not visible after installation (without internet connection)

Describe the bug
I installed this plugin using the "...from an uploaded archive" method because my octopi has a network connection but no internet due to corporate IT restrictions.
I tried this method successfully with another plugin before.
While I do get a warning due to the missing connetion the installation then seems to end successfully.
The popup window for restarting octoprint also confirms the installation but says "unkown installed".
After restart I cannot find the plugin anywhere (Dashboard, settings, pluginlist, installation folder) but when I try it again, it says "Looks like the plugin was already installed. Forcing reinstall." which also ends "successfully".

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download zip from https://github.com/smartin015/continuousprint/archive/master.zip
2. Add Plugin "..from uploaded archive"
3. Select downloaded zip archive, wait for installation to finish
4. Restart octoprint

Expected behavior
Plugin to be installed and usable.
