My open source work is centered on Python, focusing on CPython itself and tools that improve Python development. I'm working on making Python faster through my work on the JIT compiler introduced in Python 3.13. I'm also the release manager for Python 3.16 and 3.17, contribute to core modules like argparse, and, when I have time, build other helpful tools for developers.

While I'm fortunate to have some time to work on CPython during work hours at FastAPI Labs, sponsorships help me dedicate additional time to the broader Python ecosystem, tackling issues outside my day-to-day focus, writing blog posts about CPython internals, attending conferences and core development sprints, and contributing to the community in ways that benefit all Python developers.
