I am confused about OTEL functionality in Strands A2A in particular using MCP discovery.

I cannot work out how to add custom headers (i.e. traceparent and trace state) to downstream mcps.

Hi, this would be done using the underlying MCPClient, not owned by us it would be the client coming from mcp like from mcp import stdio_client, StdioServerParameters

So we just need to update documentation to indicate that users will likely need to consult both https://modelcontextprotocol.io/doc and https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk
