And this issue just hit me today: a local docx file (edited by LibreOffice) can be imported,
but the version modified by a colleague using OnlyOffice (that is supposed to be compatible), cannot be imported anymore.

I discovered today that I can import .docx files (sometimes), but not odt ones, a format which is supported only for the export.
Was there any discussion (I have seen none here), on the choice of using OOXML rather than ODF?
This does make seem aligned with the "Standards Open-Source" as OOXML is not really one
(see e.g. https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2026/02/16/why-odf-and-not-ooxml/ ).
