--select / -s downloads the whole torrent instead of the specified file

What operating system, Node.js, and npm version?
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19045.5131] / 24.3.0 / 11.4.2

What happened?
When using --select / -s the whole torrent still gets downloaded

What did you expect to happen?
To only download / stream the selected file

The specific command I've been using is webtorrent "magnet:" --mpv -s 2 -o . on a ramdisk. Torrent size is 27GB while my ramdisk is set to 8GB so it fills up quickly and throws a "no space left on device" error before mpv even has a chance to open. I have seen multiple closed issues regarding this problem so I am not sure why this still happens.
