daala_enc.c missing when trying to build daala from source

Hello.
Hopefully there is someone left here after so many years.
I have tried to build daala codec from source in order to test it on Debian 12.
I downloaded the source code running:
git clone https://github.com/xiph/daala.git
but according to deepseek AI there should be a daala_enc.c file which is not there.
What should I do?

My guess would be that your best approach would be to find a better source of information. I just tested './autogen.sh && ./configure && make' and it built the source without errors.

I have no idea. Perhaps something is mentioned in the documentation? I just know how to build the source. :)
